What Are Drugs Used to Treat Excess Weight? Diet Drugs used for weight loss are generally called anorexiants. All the drugs are potentially effective when used appropriately and with additional weight loss measures, including exercise and behavioral modification. People must be cautious when using any weight-loss medications, including over-the counter diet pills and herbal or so-called natural remedies.
Diet drugs should be seriously thought about before taking as many are not safe and you can suffer some serious uncomfortable side effects. Many drugs have not been tested and are out for trials. Many people swear by them because they can make you loose weight but they do it very dangerously and unhealthily. They cause serious side effects on the body such as breathlessness, tiredness, and dizziness, and many health chiefs don’t think they should be toyed with.
The hot new diet drug in the news is the French drug called Accomplia Rimonabant. It was created to help people quit smoking and lose fat by blocking circuitry in the brain that gives the body cravings. Unless specifically instructed by a doctor, you should not use drug methods for losing weight or for any pther purpose. Life is a gift of God and don't spoil the gift.
